50 Years for Artists and Art
Annual Exhibition of the Münchner Künstlergenossenschaft (MKG)
February 2 – 25, 2018
State Museum of Egyptian Art, Munich
Kaikaoss presents his artworks as part of the annual exhibition of the Münchner Künstlergenossenschaft (MKG), on display in the underground halls of the State Museum of Egyptian Art, alongside fellow MKG members, graduates of the Munich Academy of Fine Arts, and renowned guest artists.
From February 1 to 25, 2018, a total of 169 works – including paintings, graphic art, and sculpture – will be exhibited.
Founded in 1868 with royal privileges granted by King Ludwig II of Bavaria, the MKG now celebrates its 150th anniversary under the patronage of Duke Franz of Bavaria, head of the House of Wittelsbach. A member of the Wittelsbach family will attend the event as guest of honor. Numerous figures from the arts, culture, and politics have confirmed their presence, including Matthias Gangkofner, president of the Münchner Künstlerhaus, and Professor Yongbo Zhao of the Munich Secession.
For the first time in its history, the MKG will award its Honorary Medal, recognizing individuals for their outstanding support of artists and the arts in Munich.
This year's recipients are Maja Grassinger, president of the Münchner Künstlerhaus at Lenbachplatz, and her husband Peter Grassinger, honorary president. The medal, designed by MKG honorary president Nikos W. Dettmer, will be presented during the ceremony, along with his laudatory speech.
To mark the "150 Years of MKG" anniversary, both the exhibition catalogue and commemorative publication have been redesigned. Part of the proceeds from catalogue sales will benefit the “Münchner für Münchner e.V.” foundation, initiated by Natalie Schmid, wife of Munich’s Second Mayor Joseph Schmid.

Circle of Fire, a show of paintings with esoteric content.
Inzwischen bin ich aus New York zurück, wo ich in der Galerie No Sphare eine Ausstellung hatte, die sehr gut angenommen wurde.
On December 6, 2014, Kaikaoss was informed that the planned exhibition “Circle of Fire” at the No SPHERE gallery in New York had to be postponed. The exhibition’s title unfortunately proved to be an unfortunate premonition, as a fire broke out in the gallery.
Fortunately, no one was harmed. The exhibition is scheduled to be rescheduled for February, once the repair work is completed.
December 12, 2014 through January 4, 2015
Opening reception Friday, Dec 12, 7-9 pm
with LIVE PERFORMANCES
by Katy Gunn and Karen Nikgol.
'Circle of Fire', a show of paintings with esoteric content, unites four representational artists from far away (Iran, Denmark, Afghanistan and Norway), as well as an American musician based in Berlin. Part of a nomadic tribe of artists traveling the world, the lot meets up in various cities across the globe for creative collaborations. An initial project featuring three of the exhibitors took place at Gallery Oxholm in Copenhagen this past summer. Next up are shows in Germany and Italy in the spring, and plenty more to come.
Fostering an international network of artists is at the very core of NOoSPHERE Arts’ mission, as reflected in our name: the noosphere (pronounced “know-oh-sphere”) means the “sphere of human thought”, or the collective consciousness of our species. It is a stage of evolutionary development dominated by the mind and interpersonal relationships. Constituted by human interaction and cultural production, the noosphere is a constantly expanding web of connections encircling the Earth’s biosphere; a sphere of mind – or circle of fire– encompassing our planet.
Kaikaoss is participating in the exhibition Kunst-Treff alongside four other international artists: Inna Rust, Nikolai Lagoida, Ildrem Sultanov, and Werner Grau. The exhibition takes place from November 28 to 30, 2014, at the Kulturbunker in Cologne-Mülheim (51063).
The opening reception is on Friday, November 28, at 7:00 PM. The artists showcase a diverse range of artistic styles and approaches, including Op Art, object art, sculpture, surrealism, drawing, painting, and more.
The exhibition views art as a global, international language that connects people worldwide. The works blend modern elements from both East and West, contributing to mutual cultural understanding.
The Kulturbunker in Cologne-Mülheim provides an ideal setting for this project, as it fosters creative diversity and brings together different cultural influences.
Kulturen aufeinander treffen“ sagt der Künstler Werner Grau, der in Köln geboren
ist.
Kaikaoss participated in the group exhibition “Color Instead of Grey”, held as part of the Turkish cultural festival “Gate to Peace 2014.” The exhibition took place at the Altes Pfandhaus in Cologne (Kartäuserwall 20, 50678 Cologne).
The opening reception was held on Friday, October 17, 2014, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The exhibition ran from October 17 to 26, 2014, and aimed to promote cultural diversity, dialogue, and artistic expression as a counterpoint to uniformity and exclusion.
The exhibition at FK Cologne Design was successfully opened on October 1, 2014, attracting a large number of visitors. Many guests attended the opening and showed strong interest in the works on display.
The exhibition runs through December 20, 2014, offering a diverse look into contemporary artistic and design perspectives.
Samstag, 8.11.2014
Kaikaoss is participating in a group exhibition at the Kulturwerkstatt Remagen, located at Kirchplatz 5, 53424 Remagen. The opening reception will take place on November 8, 2014, at 12:00 PM.
The exhibition will be open over two weekends: November 8–9 and November 15–16, 2014. Visiting hours are from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM each day.
This exhibition offers a diverse insight into contemporary art, featuring numerous artists from the region.
The artist Kaikaoss participated in the 57th annual exhibition of the EVBK on August 2, 2014, in Prüm. His surreal paintings received positive feedback from both visitors and professionals. The exhibition, organized by the European Association of Visual Artists from the Eifel and Ardennes regions, showcased a selection of contemporary art from several countries. Kaikaoss’s works blended well into this cross-border art forum. The event took place at the House of Culture in Prüm.
Kaikaoss, who was a talented football player in his youth, now dedicates himself fully to his art and paintings. His exhibition themed “Football – Paintings – Still Life”, shown during the Football World Cup at ARTCORNER, creatively combined sporting subjects with artistic expression.
The exhibition will be on display in Hannover-Isernhagen from July 4 to July 13, 2014.

Kaikaoss Presents “Football – Paintings – Still Life” at Galerie Art Corner, Cologne

The exhibition of the Munich Artists’ Association, which opened with great response on March 14, 2014, is one of the most important events for contemporary figurative art. Kaikaoss is proud and honored to be part of this renowned exhibition, where he presents large-format paintings.
For the 2014 annual exhibition, the Royal-Privileged Munich Artists’ Association of 1868 is presenting itself for the first time in the rooms of the Egyptian Museum. On display are 114 works by 74 artists. A special highlight this year is the book documenting the history of this artist community, which has existed for over 146 years and includes many notable figures of visual arts. The book is available to all visitors and friends of the MKG.
The exhibition at the State Museum of Egyptian Art in Munich is open from March 15 to April 6, 2014, daily except Mondays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Tuesdays until 8 p.m
